Dear Friends and Mann Fanns:

Thank you for your friendship and support of Steve during his time here in Berkeley, California. We hope Steve enjoyed his stay up here, where musicians came from near and far to visit and jam with him and take lessons, or come to one of our backyard music parties.

Steve will be greatly missed. A lengthy tribute/obituary, by Ross Altman, is posted here.
Frank Fotusky visited from the East Coast, and put on a show with Steve and Will Scarlett.

Rolly Brown flew out from Pennsylvania, learned many of Steve’s tunes, and teaches guitar on his own website, and has a video available from the Stefan Grossman website as well.

Steve is now resting in peace up in Oregon, somewhere on the property of his sister Devorah, who has horses and a dog and probably a cat or two.

Thanks to all and best wishes to friends and fanns of the Mann.
